Wildland Paramedic… Experienced Hiker…
Hey there, I’m Taylor Gomes the Hiking Medic. I bring my 30+ years of outdoors and hiking experience combined with my chosen profession as a Wildland Paramedic to bring the most up to date hike info, products, tips, and more to maximize your outdoor adventure!
Hiking in the Great Outdoors
Ever since I was very young, the forest has been a place where I have spent much of my time. Growing up in Lake Arrowhead, I am no stranger to hiking new challenging mountain trails and trying out the latest gear in the backcountry. I then began to take things a bit more seriously with my first backpacking trip with my dad at age 10. The rest is history; now I spend the majority of my freetime in the outdoors, exploring the beauty and wonder of this great world we live in.
Working as a Wildland Paramedic, I get to see a variety of different landscapes and terrain. This experience has proven to be extremely valuable in my hiking endeavors.
A unique blend of medical professional meets seasoned outdoorsman and hiker.
My goal is to make things approachable, simple, and achievable in all things outdoors and hiking.
